Tahara Studio is a Torquay-based interior design practice providing spatial layout, joinery design, lighting, materials, and furniture curation services. The studio's work is shaped and inspired by the natural environment — its textures, tones, and the particular demands of coastal living.

With projects spanning across Tasmania, New South Wales, South Australia, and Victoria, the studio has built experience across residential, commercial, and hospitality settings.

Collaboration is central to how we work. We partner closely with clients, makers, and builders to ensure every decision — from material selection to spatial planning — is considered and built to last.

Tahara Studio was founded by Ebony Hurd, a designer trained at RMIT. Ebony's approach brings together old and new, form and colour, to create spaces that are refined, personal, and made to endure.
